October 3, 2026 · We asked for creators. They answered.

A community is forming around this before we ever asked for one.

Hi, it's Sho.

About a week ago we posted a small thing on Instagram (we are looking for creators who travel and want to make content with us).

I expected a handful of replies. What we got was responses from several continents, from people we have never met, who found a tiny travel app's callout and decided it was worth their time. Our first creator collaboration went live this week. It's a real creator showing how she keeps every recommendation in one place instead of losing them in her camera roll.

The video resonated broadly, but even more exciting is that a community is forming around this thing before we ever asked for one. People who organize trips for their friends keep finding us and then telling someone.

That is the company I want to build. Not just an audience, but a real community.

We are excited about where this goes especially over the next few months as the community continues to form. A community of people looking to inspire others to explore the world, its people and cultures.

One thing we shipped.

When you share a trip link now, it unfurls into a proper preview card wherever you paste it, instead of a bare link. Small thing, but your trip deserves to look like a place, not a URL.

The ask.

If a trip gave you a moment worth keeping this month, post it and tag @breadkrumb.official. We are watching that tag, we reshare our favorites, and honestly, seeing where you all go is the best part of this job.

Sho

P.S. New here because someone forwarded this? Breadkrumb is a place for private trip memories and plans, where you share what you would not post to the world.
